USGS-Landsat 9 due to be in "launch-readiness" for Sep 2021

Stunningly beautiful and immensly useful multipsectral imagery of the whole of Earth's surface has been collected by the NASA-USGS Landsat missions since the 1970s. The programm is set to continue well into the next decade with the planned launch of Landsat 9 sometime this year, likley Sep-Oct 2021.

Image below is a subscene from the Landsat 8 OLI sensor [Path 201 Row 39] of an area in south central Morocco. The image is a false colour RGB752 image using band 7 (SWIR) in Red, band 5 (NIR) in Green and band 2 (visible blue) in Blue channels.
